Ryobi Cordless Drill

Ok, so I got a Ryobi cordless drill for Christmas this year and I am in love with it! I had a really old Makita drill with the 9.6v battery that just would not hold a charge anymore. My wife knows what a nut I am about having over powered tools (sort of like Tim the Tool Man Taylor) hehehe, I loved that show!  Anyway, she actually researched the cordless drills and picked it out and everything... and I must say, I am very impressed with her! She did not cheap out on me and she went for the 18v with the lithium ion battery which really rocks! It charges up super fast and holds a charge for a long time.

We have this old wooden fence around our property that was put together with nails and MOST of the fence boards were popping off making the whole fence look terrible. Took me most of the day, but I managed to put at least 2 screws in every fence board around the property without ever losing a charge. The Ryobi cordless drill is a godsend and made this little DIY task actually alot of fun. I would have been cursing my old junker makita after about 30 minutes and the whole project would have probably taken me 4 days... well.. it probably would never have been done at all:)

P.S. I recomend the Ryobi 18v Battery in the lithium ion FOR SURE!  Don't be a cheap skate if you intend to actually use your cordless drill (and who doesn't?)

P.P.S Check out the other Ryobi Power Tools
